InfuSystem Appoints Susan Wozniak to Newly Created Position of Director of Clinical Research, Education, and Innovation
MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., Nov. 21, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- InfuSystem Holdings, Inc. (NYSE Amex:INFU), the leading provider of infusion pumps and associated products and services, has appointed Susan Wozniak MSHS, RN, OCN® to the newly created position of Director of Clinical Research, Education, and Innovation. In her new role with InfuSystem, she will interface with current and prospective customers, analyze potential acquisitions, partnerships and new products, track clinical trials, and participate in industry events.
Ms. Wozniak was InfuSystem's first client-dedicated Clinical Support Specialist in 1992 and was promoted to Clinical Director in 1995. After leaving InfuSystem in 2008, Ms. Wozniak expanded her experience to areas of regulatory affairs and academia and has spent the past three years conducting infusion nursing, DME, and specialty pharmacy survey activities with a CMS deemed accreditation authority. She also serves as adjunct faculty in Biological and Health Sciences at Madonna University, in Livonia, Mich.
Previously Ms. Wozniak worked for Venture Medical as a Nurse/Case Management Director from 1996-1999, St. Mary Hospital as an Emergency Department Staff Nurse from 1985-1988 and in the Critical Coronary Care Unit from 1988-1996, and for Caremark in Home Health Care Nursing from 1989-1991.

Ms. Wozniak is President Elect of the American Nursing Association (ANA) state member constituency: RN-AIM and serves on the board of the Metro Detroit Oncology Nursing Society as well as the Oncology Nursing Forum editorial review board. She is also a Sigma Theta Tau Community Leader award recipient and coordinates the national award winning TAR WARS youth tobacco awareness program in Detroit area schools. Ms. Wozniak holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration, as well as a Master of Science in Health Services from Madonna University.
